My Ghostly Encounter (Part 1)

I'm not sure how many of you guys out there believe that ghost actually does exist in this world but I do. I've always been a believer that those paranormal forces does exist and they are living with us just that we couldn't see them. If we couldn't see them, how come there are so many people that claim they can see ghost? Well, I can't find an explanation for this question but I do believe that most of the ghost stories I heard are true because I have find myself in those situation before.

My 1st ghostly encounter was when I was only 6 years old. I can clearly remember that it is 245am in the morning. That night, I woke up wanting to go to toilet. In my half awake condition, crept out of my bed and slowly walked towards the door. Upon opening the door, if I turned right, it will lead me to the toilet and if I turned left, it will lead me to the living area. As I was still halfway asleep, my brain was processing quite slow so I need to look left and right before deciding which way I should go.

When I turn to the left, this is the time I come face to face with my 1st paranormal experience. I can clearly see the shadow of a woman wearing a big pointy hat and an old style English dress on the wooden front door of my house. Well, being half awake, you can doubt what I saw because at that moment, I can see the shadow clearly but it still doesn't seem scary to me because the next thing I did was to turn right and walked to the toilet.

As I was peeing, I suddenly became wide awake after recalling what I just saw a moment ago. I try very hard to try and figure out what shadow could that be. From the angle of the shadow, the woman must be standing right in front of my ancestral altar in order to be able to form such an image on the wooden door. Moreover, the only source of light in the living area is the oil lamp on the ancestral altar! I was too shaky to step out of the toilet but it's silly to stay up in the toilet the whole night! So i took a deep breathe and rush out of the toilet. I quickly washed my hands and walked super fast back to my room. Being curious, I took a peek at the wooden door but this time, the shadow was gone. I didn't tell anyone about it until years later when we moved out of the house. I told my mom about it and she say it must be a dream.

After that, I started hearing weird noises coming from around the house at night. Once, I heard the TV was on. I was sleeping in my grandma's room that night. My grandma's room is very near the living area. Being curious, I crept out of the bed and put my ear close to the door to see if I can hear clearer. I can clearly hear the "bzzzzz" sound from the TV when there is no reception. I flung the door open and the living room was in pin drop silence.

On a separate night, this time I was sleeping in my parents' room. I heard someone washing dishes in the kitchen at about 1am in the morning. I thought it was my mom because usually she is still awake at that hour. So i got up of my bed wanting to go out and see if I could help my mom. As i was walking towards the door, I saw my mom sleeping already. Out of curiosity, I placed my ear closer to the door so I can listen clearer. I was very sure that someone is washing the dishes and arranging it back to the cabinet. I open the door and all i can see is pitch darkness. All the sound of dish washing just vanished.

Since moving out of the house, I never had any paranormal encounters until a few years later when my dad rented the house next door because we needed more space to house more people. The house had been vacant for quite some time before my dad rented it. I was very happy because I will have a room of my own! I can stay up till late to play my online game and nobody will nag me to sleep. Hahaha.. Everything was fine until one day... (to be continued)

Part 2 will be up tomorrow night!

Movie Review - Season Of The Witch

I went to catch Season of the Witch last Thursday. I know my review came late because the movie was out since 2 weeks ago but I couldn't find time to go watch it.

The storyline was good. The story is something like The Exorcist just that it was told in a different way. There is one thing that I couldn't understand. The title. Why is it called Season of the Witch? I don't see any witchcraft in the movie. Did they give the title just to mislead the viewers so that people will go in expecting a witch movie? Did they think by doing that, it can enhance on the twist in the ending? I seriously doubt so. Have they ever thought how disappointed it will be if some of the viewers were really looking forward to catching a witch movie rather than watching Satan possessed and killed innocent people? Maybe it should be name as "Key of Solomon". Hmm... Anyway, I'm nobody to comment on it.

The story revolves around the journey of 2 knights, Behmen (Nicholas Cage) and Felson (Ron Perlman) after they decided to leave the Crusades because they didn't want to kill anymore innocent people. Soon, they discover that the Black Plague has swept across the land. Later, they were asked by the Cardinal to escort an apparent witch, Anna (Claire Foy) which was suspected to have caused the plague to a remote monastery where the last copy of the Key of Solomon is kept. The Key of Solomon was believed to be able to kill the apparent witch and destroy the Black Plague from spreading further. As in all movies, during the journey to the monastery, one by one of the escorts were killed. When they finally reached the monastery, only the heroes were left.

When they entered the monastery, the found out that all the monks were dead but they found the Key of Solomon. As soon as they found the Key of Solomon, the priest, Debelzaq (Stephen Campbell Moore) began to perform the ritual used on witches. However, it is useless. The apparent witch melts the cage and revealed herself as a demon. The demon deceived them into bringing him to the monastery so he can destroy the last copy of the Key of Solomon. When the priest realized that the girl was possessed by a demon, he began to perform an exorcism to the girl. But the freaking exorcism chanting was so freaking long that before he can finish reading it, the priest was killed by the demon. The exorcism was continued by Kay (Robert Sheehan), a young man with a brave heart. The Behmen and Felson were fighting the demon, Kay continue performing the exorcism. Felson was killed and Behmen was left to battle the demon alone. Behmen had to hold on to the demon so that Kay can finish reading the freaking damn long exorcism chant. The moment Behmen was killed by the demon, the long winded chant ended and demon was killed. Anna was back to her own self and I think she live happily ever after with Kay.

The plot was okay. The beginning was scary. I almost jump off my seat in the scene where a priest pulls up the dead bodies from the river. After that, the built up was quite slow. I almost dozed off half way in the movie. Luckily Jas bought some candies for me to munch to keep me awake. The ending was really heart racing. I kept complaining that why is the freaking exorcism chant so damn long. Jas kept saying why nobody protects the priest. They were lucky that the young man, Kay can read the chant if not, they will be GGed the moment the priest were killed by the demon.

Overall, it is a movie for those who enjoy supernatural fantasy type of movie. Not to say I didn't enjoy it but it can be improved. :)

Movie Review - Great Day

Last night, I went to catch the movie, Great Day. It is a local production that I wanted to watch so much after I saw the trailer. When I 1st saw the trailer, I was sobbing like crazy. No matter how many times I watch it, tears just can't stop rolling down my cheek.

There are 3 stories in this movie which is interconnected. The 1st story is about 2 old man who lives in an old folk's home. One of them runaway from the old folk's home to get to the town to visit his children. When he reaches there, he found out that his children were hiding many things from him. His daughter is now a divorcee and his son quit his stable bank job to be a photographer. He also find his son's fashion style unacceptable. Meanwhile, his grand daughter finds him annoying but soon they bonded well and both of them actually share some of the most touching scenes in the movie. There were 2 very memorable scene that still brought tears to my eyes whenever I think about it. One was the scene when both the grandpa and the grand daughter sang "Little Peter Rabbit Had A Fly Upon His Nose" and the other one was the scene where the granddaughter was playing the swing alone, hugging a bunny soft toy. The old man was later suspected to have cancer and he went back to the old folk's home. His grand daughter ran away from home to go find him. In the end, his daughter and son also went to the old folk's home to pay him a visit.

The 2nd story is about a guy whose mother has Alzheimer. He loves his mom a lot and he has a very filial son. He also has a cousin sister who is secretly in love with him. In the end, he married his cousin sister.

The 3rd story is about a school teacher who was mistakenly recognized as the son of the other old man in the old folk's home. He always said that his father already passed away so he was accused of being a bad son who didn't want to admit his father is alive and is now living in an old folk's home. Towards the end of the story, the school teacher came to the old folk's home to visit the old man and he called him "Dad". Later, the caretaker of the old folk's home said that the old man do not have a son because he is not married at all. So it makes everyone wonder why he called him "Dad" when he is not his son. He said something very touching, "If by calling an old man "Dad" will make him happy, I'll do it. Besides, it makes me feel as if my father is still alive."

Overall, the storyline is not bad. Just that I feel the 2nd story can be more elaborated. It can be touchier. Also regarding the 1st story, I feel that they can further elaborate on the mother and daughter story. In my opinion, the 3rd story is not necessary. I would rather they took out the 3rd story and elaborate further on the 1st and 2nd story. Somehow I feel the producer just add in more scenes so that the movie can accommodate more actors and actresses.

I also don't like the idea of adding a joke to all the emotional scenes. I know the tag line of the movie is "Touched Hearts with a Laugh" but it is just not right. How can someone just switch their emotional from sad to happy instantly? I can't do it. Therefore some of the jokes doesn't even appear funny to me. I remember this part where the old man told the children to take care of themselves and be happy because he can't live long to see them. The script then was very touching. I can feel tears rolling down my cheek. Then suddenly the old man added that he thinks he has breast cancer. The children laughed about it. I don't think it is funny. The joke was totally redundant for me. Imagine, can you laugh out loud when your loved ones tell you they think they have cancer? It is simply ridiculous.

Anyway, all I've mentioned above are just my personal opinions. I still think it is a movie worth watching.

I need to tell you guys this. Yesterday when the movie finished, as usual, everyone will be rushing towards the exit. But last night, something creepy happened. I was in the large cinema. As everyone was walking towards the exit, the whole cinema was very quiet. It was so quiet to the extend that it feels really scary. No one was talking. I asked Jas if she noticed the awkward silence. She told me she notices it too and she added that everyone was like walking with heads facing down. She said maybe everyone felt it. I think everyone was relating the story to themselves. Well, i felt it. I can relate it to myself.

So I can proudly say that this local Malaysian production is a success!

How To Make Love

Yesterday noon, I was surfing the web trying to find out ways to do my movie posters collage. Just when I type "How to", one of the first thing that was listed as top Google search was How To Make Love?

I was like HUH? Do people still need to Google on how to make love? I thought making love is a skill that is planted in the brain since the day God made all of us. Well, animals do not have Google to find out on how to screw their partner. Why do human need it? Oh... maybe for once animals were smarter than human. Haha.

Don't misunderstand or be offended if you are one of the people who actually Google search for that. Hahahahaha. (No..No.. No.. I'm not laughing at your face) I'm not very experience myself but I don't think I need to Google on How To Make Love. The closest thing that I ever Google for something regarding sex that is informational is most probably on how to improve sex life.

Out of curiosity, I Googled for "How To Make Love" tonight. Hahaha. Now you can laugh at my face.

The top search that came out is actually an article from Askmen.com about 10 Tips for Better Sex. Okok...Chillax people... You don't have to take the hustle to click on the link and wait for it to load. I'll share it with you here. You people just can't live a single day without being curious about sex right? Aiyohh...

Here's the 10 Tips for Better Sex from Askmen.com.

10) Blindfold Her (this is my favourite)
Blindfolding your partner increases her sensory awareness. She doesn’t know where you are or what you are going to do next. This creates anticipation for better sex -- the tease. Tease her mercilessly with sensory objects, such as a feather or your tongue. Start off softly, as this excites her nerve endings and makes them far more sensitive.

9) Give Her Instruction
Talk about things you haven’t tried, but would like to, then choose one suggestion from each partner, and get down and dirty.

8) Massage
A relaxing sensual massage can unlock her body to some very intense orgasms and much better sex in the end. The ability to relax your partner in this way should be high on your list of skills to master.
Once you've relaxed her major muscles -- shoulders and back -- work your way down to her buttocks. Strokes can then start to wander near to, but not on, her inner thighs, butt crease and vagina.

7) Have Her Dress Up
Playing the role of someone else during sexual play is a very enjoyable way to give your partner some different sensations, and try things that you haven’t done before. Role playing is a great way to have better sex and to have fun with your partner in a light-hearted but sexy way.

6) Tell Her Your Fantasies
Talking about your fantasies with your partner is a very conducive form of sex play. It increases communication with your partner, which is of great importance, as well, it also helps you get to know each other better for better sex.
Keep it light at first and don’t throw her in the deep end with fantasies about people you both know or reveal fetishes you aren't sure about.

5) Play A Game
Get a pack of cards and play strip poker for better sex. It may seem like something you would have done when you were in high school (given the opportunity), but adult strip poker is a good way to get naked. Once you are both naked (or nearly naked), you can start on the really fun part: A loss means the other person gets to choose what action is performed on them by the loser.

4) Dirty Talk
Talking dirty has turned people on for millennia and will continue to do so because it has something other sex play doesn’t: words. Because our brains are our largest sexual apparatus, we respond to the spoken word automatically.
For better sex, start off easy with neutral dirty-talk topics, such as how you feel inside her, how much you are enjoying the act and what you would like to do to her next.

3) Try A New Position
New positions need a reasonably high level of arousal in your lover, so choose your time to strike a new pose when she is quite obviously feeling very randy.
Simply changing locations can dramatically change the position, so consider this too (for example on top of the washing machine, on a bench, beanbag or table)

2) Use a Cock Ring
Cock rings slow the drain of blood out of your erection, and keep you harder for longer. A very hard penis stimulates a woman’s insides slightly differently -- and much better -- than one that is getting soft around the edges.

1) Try A New Place
Try a public place (not too public) or simply move to a different room or area in your home -- or even someone else’s home.

Haha.. Do you find it arousing just by reading? Hope you find pleasure reading it. I've extracted most of the interesting and juicy lines in the article. If you wanna read the whole article, here's the link, "http://www.askmen.com/dating/love_tip_250/250_love_tip.html". Tell me if the picture that comes with the article is giving you a boner (i mean for guys) and for girls, does it make u juice?

Well, I think how to make love shouldn't be our main concern because when you are there, you will know what to do. Hahaha... Your main concern now should be your intention of doing it. If you are doing it for fun, please go find a wall with a hole and do it. You can also get a hooker and I curse that you will be infected with STDs. You need to understand the whole idea behind making love. In my opinion, making love is a process where two person are ready to bring their relationship to a higher level, trust are involve here and also once they did it, the commitment level towards each other increases.

Many brainless dudes out there are using this as a reason to make their girl friend gave him their virginity. "If you love me, give it to me." If I'm the girl, I'll slapped him left right center and teach his manhood a good lesson before leaving him. I'm actually feel kinda proud of myself because I didn't take the virginity of my first ex when I had many chances to do so. You can say that I'm stupid but I don't really care because I'm proud of myself. My mom always tell me that to be a man, you need to be responsible for your act. Moreover we were still young that time, it is just not right. Well, at least I don't feel so committed to her when we broke up. Haha....

Anyway, besides the article from Askmen.com, most of the things i mentioned above are just personal opinion and rantings. It contains no prejudice. Don't be offended. I've got no intention to make enemies. This entry is purely for reading pleasure. :)
